welcome to our website...
Welcome to British Antique Bottles, the website for the British Antique Bottle Forum, we have put together this small website to publicise and promote our online community, we have put a small amount of information about the hobby of antique bottle digging and collecting along with a selection of photos to give you an introduction to what we are all about and some details about our online forum.
The British Antique Bottle forum was founded by a small group of dedicated antique bottle collectors, originally started in early 2007 as the North West Antique Bottle Forum we opened our horizons becoming the British Antique Bottle Forum in mid 2008, since then our community has gone from strength to strength attracting bottle collectors from across the globe, in 2010 we achieved over a 1000 registered members, we are a friendly online community for like minded collectors of antique bottles, pot lids, jars, advertising, brewery memorabilia and related items which is now funded by the kind support of our members, the aim of our forum and website is to promote and publicize the hobby and related events and hopefully ensure the hobby continues onto the younger generation, early in 2012 we linked up with the Australian Antique Bottle Forum and became "sister forums" creating a link between the collectors in Great Britain and our good friends across Australia.
